1. Chapter 4: Visual Aids, 4.5 pages 69-70 – BDS Windsock Systems will indicate the free stream wind conditions at the installation/vessel location. BDS Systems Inc. offers a full line of Internally Lighted Windsock systems to illuminate windsock for night operations.
2. Chapter 6: Assessment of wind speed and direction, 6.13 page 107 – BDS Windsock Systems will provide visually to the pilot an indication of wind speed and direction. BDS Systems Inc. offers a full line of Windsocks including our most popular “International Orange” Windsock to give maximum contrast with the background.
3. Appendix H: Risk Assessment, #2 page 286 – BDS Windsock Systems will facilitate an accurate indication of wind direction and strength over the helideck. BDS Systems Inc. offers a full line of Internally Lighted Windsock systems to illuminate windsock for night operations. All models have an optional top beacon/obstruction light based on need.
