Wall Mount Windsock Pole (16 ft, stainless steel)
16-foot wall mount windsock pole designed for permanent installation on structurally sound building walls and vertical mounting surfaces.
Ideal for industrial facilities, commercial buildings, marine applications, offshore platforms, and locations where ground or rooftop installation is impractical or not preferred.
BDS Windsock Poles are engineered to withstand harsh outdoor and coastal environments for long-term, low-maintenance performance:
- Constructed from Schedule 40 304 stainless steel pipe for superior strength and long-term durability
- Marine-grade powder-coated finish for exceptional corrosion and rust resistance

- Hinged pole section allows the pole to be lowered for easier windsock inspection, servicing, and maintenance
- Standard 1-inch NPT threaded connection compatible with all BDS windsock frames and other equipment utilizing the same industry-standard connection

Poles
Constructed from Schedule 40 304 stainless steel pipe with marine-grade powder-coated finish:
Each telescoping pole section bolts together using stainless steel hardware for superior corrosion and rust resistance.
- 1 wall-mount pole – 2-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole with 6-inch × 6-inch gusseted hinged bottom plate. Pole mounts to wall with brackets, sitting 1-foot (12 inches) above top of wall.
- 1 hinged top-plate pole – 2-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole with 6-inch × 6-inch gusseted hinged top plate.
- 1 pole section – 1.5-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole.
- 1 threaded pole section – 1-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole with 1-inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) for attachment of BDS windsock frames (sold separately).
Hardware
Stainless steel wall mounting hardware includes:

- 3 × strut mount brackets
- 3 × 18-inch stainless steel U-bolts
- 3 × S5 strut mount routing clamps
- 1 x hinge pin
- 4 x bolts, washers, locknuts for pole connections
- 4 x bolts, nuts for hinged base
