Rooftop Mount Windsock Pole (16 ft, stainless steel)
16-foot rooftop mount windsock pole designed for permanent installation on structurally sound rooftops, decks, concrete pads, and other solid mounting surfaces.
Ideal for hospital heliports, offshore platforms, industrial facilities, commercial buildings, marine applications, and locations where surface-mounted installation is preferred over in-ground installation.

- Hinged pole section allows the pole to be lowered for easier windsock inspection, servicing, and maintenance
- Standard 1-inch NPT threaded connection compatible with all BDS windsock frames and other equipment utilizing the same industry-standard connection

Poles
Constructed from Schedule 40 304 stainless steel pipe with marine-grade powder-coated finish:
Each telescoping pole section bolts together using stainless steel hardware for superior corrosion and rust resistance.
- 1 rooftop-deck-mount section – 2-inch OD × 1-foot (12-inch) pole section between 16-inch x 16-inch gusseted rooftop mount plate and 6-inch × 6-inch gusseted hinged bottom plate.
- 1 hinged top-plate pole – 2-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole with 6-inch × 6-inch gusseted hinged top plate.
- 1 pole section – 1.5-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole.
- 1 threaded pole section – 1-inch OD × 5.5-foot (66-inch) pole with 1-inch National Pipe Thread (NPT) for attachment of BDS windsock frames (sold separately).
Hardware
Stainless steel rooftop mounting hardware includes:
- 1 x hinge pin
- 4 x bolts, nuts for hinged base
- 4 x bolts, washers, locknuts for pole connections
