BDS Windsock Systems provide dairy farms and agriculture farms the safety needs they require. Dairy farms and agriculture farms are a rapidly growing sector for BDS Systems Inc., especially in North America.
EMERGENCY PREPAREDNESS – Our lighted windsock systems conform to Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Appendix C to 1910.119 — Compliance Guidelines and Recommendations for Process Safety Management which states “For outdoor processes where wind direction is important for selecting the safe route to a refuge area, the employer should place a wind direction indicator such as a windsock or pennant at the highest point that can be seen throughout the process area. Employees can move in the direction of cross wind to upwind to gain safe access to the refuge area by knowing the wind direction” (Section 13 – Emergency Preparedness, Paragraph 3. This appendix serves as a non-mandatory guideline to assist employers and employees in complying with the requirements of this section, as well as provides other helpful recommendations and information).
We supply our lighted windsock systems to many dairy and agriculture farms in North America.
